Established in 1989, Island Leisure Lodges has built a strong reputation within the leisure industry for producing high-quality, bespoke timber lodges and buildings.

Following a successful project for a local hotel, the company identified a demand for custom-made leisure accommodation, and has since expanded its offering to include holiday homes, chalets, studios, offices, pavilions, restaurants, shops, visitor centres, camping pods, and amenity blocks -essentially, any timber structure suited to its specialist build system.

This versatility allows Island Leisure to meet a wide range of client needs, supplying buildings across the UK mainland and islands. Over the years, the company has forged lasting partnerships with holiday parks nationwide, becoming a trusted supplier of lodges for both private and commercial customers.

    Our lodges are designed to maximise natural light with large floor-to-ceiling windows, reducing the need for artificial lighting and heating. Energy-efficient glazing, low-E glass and full Isover insulation across walls, floors and ceilings ensure excellent thermal performance and lower energy use.

    With support from Energy Saving Scotland, we’ve made our operations cleaner and more efficient. Our biomass system heats the spray booth using wood waste, reducing electricity use and landfill, while presence detectors in our office and factory cut unnecessary energy consumption.

  • Fewer Chemicals

    We minimise harmful chemicals by using water-based paints and low-toxin structural glues wherever possible. Small choices also make a difference—from dual-flush toilets and low-energy appliances to natural 100% wool carpets—helping further reduce our environmental impact.

No. All lodges are constructed in our Perth factory from quality raw materials, allowing full customisation.

Can I alter or extend my timber lodge at a later date?

Yes — subject to site permission. We also offer after-sales support for materials, paints, fixtures, and fittings.

Can we live in an Island Leisure timber lodge in the winter?

Yes. All walls, floors, and roofs are insulated and feature low-energy glass, making them comfortable year‑round.

Can I live in an Island Leisure timber lodge permanently?

Yes, our lodges are suitable for both holiday accommodation and full-time residence.

How long will an Island Leisure timber lodge last?

Built to modern home standards, our lodges have a similar lifespan to a standard residential property.

Are Island Leisure timber lodges guaranteed?

Yes. We offer a 12-month guarantee on all supplies and workmanship, plus a further 9‑year structural frame guarantee (subject to maintenance).
