NEW GATE HOUSE FOR PERTH NORTH RECYCLING CENTRE
This industrial unit comprising of an office, mess room and toilet facilities went out from our workshop yesterday. This modular build was an excellent option for Perth & Kinross Council, taking only 1 afternoon to deliver and site their new gate house. Being built in our factory meant no disruption to their business, no mess or any inconvenience to the team at this new recycling centre at Inveralmond Ind. Estate.

FARM DIVERSIFICATION TO HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION
We are currently working with several groups who are in the process
of securing grant assisted funding to enable them to either start up a
new business of holiday let accommodation, or to expand upon existing
holiday cottages or lodges.
Testament to our extremely high quality product and service, Island Leisure Lodges have been selected by many who have applied to the Scottish Rural Development Programme (SRDP) and Rural Development Programme England (RDPE), to manufacture their timber buildings, and in turn we give our utmost support and do all we can to assist in their development project. We are here to help with the design, production of plans/drawings, planning process, and finally, the production and transportation of the building to site. Further details on the Farm Diversificiation Scheme in Scotland can also be found on the Scottish Agricultural College (SAC) website.

ISLAND LEISURE LODGES GET CLEANER & GREENER
Thanks to the Energy Saving Scotland small business programme, we have managed to become a cleaner and greener operation - and the business is making considerable cost savings in the process.
We installed a biomass system to replace electric heating in our spray booth. By installing the wood waste heater system, we are making substantial savings per year on electricity and as a company, committing to reducing our carbon footprint. We have also reduced the amount of waste wood sent to landfill.
As a result of the Energy Audit carried out, we have also installed a number of presence detectors for the office and factory lighting. (Jan 2011)
CONTEMPORARY DESIGN WITH NO MAINTENANCE - INTERESTED? READ ON...
Carry Farm and Island Leisure launch new contemporary 3 bed/2 bath Hunter Lodge. You haven't seen anything quite like this with its shimmering aluminium roof, clad in traditional vertical Scottish Larch, neatly nestled alongside sheltered coastal waters in Argyll. The design and appearance of this 'beach house' is stunning to say the least. It's exposure to the elements of the sea dictated the construction and design had to be thermally efficient and maintenance free. That's exactly what we did! We have used aluminium for the roof, galvanised steel for the gutters, powder coated aluminium clad pine window frames and Scottish Larch cladding. The design incorporated large windows and velux roof windows, allowing the sun to pour in, maximising its thermal efficiency.
