Materials
We construct our lodges from timber managed sources. Wood is strong, clean, can be re-used and has excellent insulating properties.

Standards
Island Leisure holiday lodges are built to the minimum standard of BS3632. Our construction mirrors that of a timber framed house with our lodges being manufactured on a solid timber chassis.

Due to our constructional materials and methods, we are also able to offer buildings that comply with building warrant regulations and NHBC Standards, if required.

Mass Production
Mass produced holiday homes and lodges are all the same and can compromise what a buyer ultimately purchases.

Materials
Man made materials such as PVC, are extensively used for cladding, facias, soffits, windows and doors. The use of environmentally unfriendly materials enable the supply of a cheaper product.

Standards
Most holiday home manufacturers in the UK use lightweight structures on portable steel chassis which are normally unsuitable when trying to achieve warrant compliant buildings. This construction mirrors that of a caravan.

Investment
Often holiday homes from the mass manufacturers have a limited lifespan and are constructed of lightweight materials and fittings. This will also be reflected in the depreciation over a more substantial Island Leisure Lodge.

After Sales
Many manufacturers in the leisure industry have re-branded or unfortunately ceased to trade. This leaves owners without a contact if problems arise and no route for services by the original manufacturer.
